Understanding pricing

I sold my first image on Alamy -Yay!   But I didn't get as much money as I expected - Boo!    (and I do understand the 50%  commission)

Just so a newbie like me understands  - it was an RF license for " Commercial electronic, Website, including online marketplaces such as Amazon and Ebay, social media and app use, any size, single placement and design, worldwide, in perpetuity. 46 MB  4896 x 3264 pixels  2 MB compressed
Image Size: Any size
Start: 10 December 2019
End: 10 December 2024 " 

 

Cost to buyer $3.75 according to my sales history

 

If I look at this image ( Image ID: TT1F0B )  on Alamy.com the cost seems to be £35.99 for website use, or more depending on the image size.   So some buyers get a vastly reduced rate?

 

Where does the $3.75 come in ?

The price calculator has been effectively redundant for some years now, as Alamy give most customers substantial discounts. Its only real use is for impulse buyers paying by card, and to trick new contributors into thinking they can make money from stock.
