Twitter to preserve jpeg quality

I'm used to seeing uploaded pictures pretty small but in this example it's large, up to 8MP for a normal aspect ratio image, up to 16MP for square.

 

So my question to Twitter users is how can you prevent image theft given that they also strip EXIF & IPTC metadata?
