David W
Like many contributors I upload to Alamy RM because I don't agree in principal with micro stock prices. How can it be then that I get an RM sale that gives me a tiny amount equivalent to micro stock? Admittedly it is a distributor sale (I know of course I can opt out) but my point is - isn't it time for a new payment model that respects and protects RM contributors. With image number hurtling towards 70,000,000 many must be scratching their heads and wondering if it is worth it anymore. Yes it is a very competitive environment, yes other well known agencies have been taken over BUT surely Alamy can lead for once and put in place a system that properly rewards photographers - the people that make their business possible in the first place!
