I'm a former Getty Images Editorial Entertainment Photographer from NYC. I started there in 2008. I joined Alamy in 2008 thinking that I would host my vast library of photos in the event I was no longer with Getty. In 2018, I was told Getty was downsizing contributors with 50% commission. I had all my images taken down from Getty. I immediately submitted nearly 60,000 images to Alamy and have experienced success with Alamy. The trend is upward. Good luck everyone. Alamy is amazing.
