Curious to know how we can submit (congrats on doing so BTW) pics of fine art when there are so many restrictions on taking pics of street art and graffiti. Surely the same principle applies? We have been told to include 'context' for it to be approved these days, have we not?

Likewise...compared to street art this just seems immoral, i mean i’ve owned some rare art books, what was stopping me just copying them?

My guess would be that because in the case of classic art, the artist is very much long since dead and  the copyright has effectively expired  due to how long ago the poece was initially created (not sure about what rights the owner of the artwork today has though). With street art, the artwork is new and the artists are very much still alive. This is just my guess though.

Only applies to living artists with lawyers. These are all long, long out of copyright.
