Old images + MRs

Recommended Posts

I contacted MS to ask this question and was given a good answer, but not exactly what I was looking for. I'm thinking of scanning some old images I have and need a clarification on what to do when it contains persons who are deceased. Namely my mom who has no immediate family alive and my twin sister. Dad is still living, so my questions are:

1. How does one fill out an MR with deceased people present in an image?

2. Can I represent my twin sister or would I need my dad to do it? BTW, I'll be in some of them with her.

3. Have a couple of really old family images, I'd guess near 100 yrs old or perhaps older. Exactly how would that work?

I realize one doesn't need to have an MR, but I would prefer doing so. Thanks!

In the UK one would look to the executors of the estates in the first instance. After probate has been granted one would need the permission of the beneficiaries of each estate other than those given legacies.
