Evidently an unenforceable condition of entry. It's not the law.

Considering adult admission is now £22- to a church- I'd consider it fair game!

what's your thoughts on all the Historic Trust  and Parliament properties then? Because I have a ton I haven't even tried to submit, but I see alot of them on here....Damn 15000 photos under Hampton Court, so I think I would be safe on these.

Aha, I thought that might be Portobello, but couldn’t locate it on Alamy.

Scottish Sun appears to have rehashed the same article, but it’s a different URL. Kay and my photos still there, unfortunately Iain’s isn’t. I presume this classes as a separate use?

Do you mean the National Trust in England? It has a very restrictive policy and periodically strongarms Alamy into removing images to tighten its own picture library's monopoly.

It's misusing a 50-year-old byelaw designed to control itinerant photographers, but it's not an argument we're going to win, so I don't visit NT properties any more. Images taken from the highway or public footpaths are fine, but be prepared to prove it.

I don't know about the Parliamentary estate but I apply David Kilpatrick's protocol- if no-one stops you from taking photographs you can do as you wish, if they do, you stop, but you already have some photographs by then, don't you?

Hampton Court is a royal palace and I don't know about those. They're too expensive for me anyway.

Maybe start a new thread on it- we haven't had one for a little while.
