April 2018 Challenge:   In or On the Water

Water was a big component of my image from last month so it's my inspiration for this month's challenge.  Your images must be taken of something or someone on the water. More specifically:

It must be taken outdoors, on open natural water (e.g., lakes, ocean, rivers,  not a swimming pool),  and must be taken of something with people and/or animals in the water.  Not of inanimate objects without people or animals.   The photographer can be on the shoreline, but not the subject.

Up to 3 images, must be on Alamy.  Deadline midnight April 30, 2018, PST.

Some examples:

Have fun!

Do they have to be right on the water?  Can they be doing a watersport but not in or on the water but above the water?

Jill

Yes watersports are fine.

I was going to ask about canals because although the water is natural, the canal isn't! Then I saw Bryan has already posted a couple. Does this mean canals are OK Maria?

This thread is a constant reminder of how talented alamy's photographers are. Great images - and I am not one to give praise lightly.

I believe everyone just tries to make the challengers final selection process as difficult as possible ;)

I fully agree with a lot of great pictures in this thread already.

Difficult to select the best from one let alone weed out 8 finally.

Alright, canals are fine as well.  But more points for open water :)

There's a great selection of images already, keep them coming!
