Vincent Lowe 733
Anyone tried using voice recognition software for keywording? I'll be having surgery on my right hand in a few weeks Fortunately I'm left-handed so using the mouse won't be a problem and I've plenty of work to catch up on. However, keywording is going to be awkward for a bit with only one hand.
spacecadet 3,930
A bit slower but you do ctrl-c and v with the left hand anyway. I went to left-mouse after a bit of carpal something-or-other and never went back. Good luck.
Robert M Estall 318
I've only indirect experience when a Danish mate gave it a try. We had some very amusing correspondence using it! I think it got better as it learned his delivery but he dropped it in the end.
Vincent Lowe 733
OK thanks, I'll maybe download a trial version or two and give it a whirl.
Inchiquin 894
There's voice recognition built into Windows 7 but IME it's crap. Keeps making the same mistakes over and over again and never seems to learn anything. Alan
