Thanks very much to everyone who participated. A lot of great images, coupled with some indecision on my part, means that there are ten images to consider this month, rather than the usual eight.

Voting will close Tuesday, May 6, midnight UK time.

I'm delighted that you have included my shot from Homer --- a place that I love. I assume you are working on the task of adding the images. Really tedious, I know.

I've enjoyed seeing the wide variety of effective photos posted for transport.

I had such trouble deciding between my two favorites, I asked my daughter for some input - and wouldn't you know it, her two favorites were the same as my two. Very very hard to pick just one to vote for.

Thanks for including one of mine :-)

Cheers,

PS: who's the coward giving me all those red ones the last few weeks.....??????

Removed it for you Phillipe.  I'm sure most of them are from people on tablets, and they don't notice it.

To remind, the polling deadline is midnight tonight, UK. At the moment huskies and London buses are going head-to-head in the lead, with a small car and underground carriage lurking just behind. Here's hoping there won't be a four-way tie.

It's midnight in the UK and we have a winner. Congratulations to Stanislav for an eye-catching shot of London buses by night. An honourable mention to Gen who, with her huskies, ran the winner close.

Thanks very much to everyone who participated and to everyone who voted.

Congratulations once again Stanislav - and over to you for the June challenge.

Well done Stanislav! My vote had gone to you.

Thank you for those who voted for my huskies. I'm glad you liked my image as the motion blur was not post-processing. I actually deliberately set a slow shutter speed while on the sleigh.

Finally, thank you Gareth for this interesting challenge.
