I had a $330 one this week. The one before was November 16 and prior to that, one in June 16 but it was only for $199.99 so it doesn't qualify  :)

They are very rare indeed.

My statistics regarding my  gross average prices are showing a sad  story:

2003 = 241

2004 = 136

2005 = 163

2006 = 108

2007 = 126

2008 = 109

2009 = 97

2010 = 103

2011 = 65

2012 = 76

2013 = 77

2014 = 77

2015 = 58

2016 = 44

2017 = 18

:wacko:  :wacko:

Biggest sale $180 in 2014, which was repeated in 2015, but then cancelled and became a $90!

Like last year more sales than in 2015 so far, but low low prices and that's with me cancelling personal use on images,

Gross Av

2015 = $55

2016 = 22

2017 = 15.5

I've been incredibly lucky and had 4 editorial sales of the same RM image in the last 2 months or so, all between $100 and $830 - I'm not sure if they are all variances/extensions of the same usage or not as it is hard to tell from the license details and have been unable to find them using Google/Tineye.

My jaw hit the floor every time one of them dropped in. And again when they cleared. So they seem to be around - But I'm fully aware I will likely never see sales like this again any time soon (if ever)!

I don't know whether this complies but 8 years ago I shot a sequence of images of, what was then, my next door neighbours identical 7 year old twins daughters. With the exception of the current year, one or more of this sequence, via numerous agencies, has sold for editorial use monthly. To date, from this sequence, I've achieved just short of $25,000 gross with the highest license of $180 (Alamy).

We moved just afterwards. Big mistake.
