My CTR has been in yo-yo mode this month, which is unusual.

Probably has to do with fewer zooms than normal this month.

Today, things are looking quite a bit better than they were earlier in the week, though:

Total CTR: 0.62

Average CTR: 0.53

What? You want my CTR? That's a number. I don't tells nobody me numbers! What else you want? My exact age? My belt size? My bank account? My PIN number? Hey! Back off with this numbers thing!

A guy after my own heart. Way to go, Ed! :D

Total 0.48 at present, but it varies wildly. No zooms today, but 11 a couple of days ago.

So many variables to consider here. If you have multiple pseudos then some may be quite high and others in the doldrums. I just have the one main pseudo and a tiny junk store.

It must also depend on your collection, a tightly focused group of specialist images  might see fewer views but might also get a higher CTR etc. My Jack of All Trades collection is always going to do badly in the CTR stakes, but, provided that the sales continue to come in, I can't say that I am too concerned.

Total 0.63 and Average 0.47

My best performing pseudo is 0.86

My numbers have been climbing steadily for about a year, faster in the last 6 months.

Views are up about 60% from the previous year but sales are not up equally.

So you force us to guess?

Your age is.......... busy thinking hard ....... now busy calculating ......... √(2017)x12/1953=0.276²x365xPi...... that would make you between 86 and 88 years old. Am I right or am I right? -_-

N.B. remark about the use of Pi for those mathematicians from India. As you will notice, I didn't use the astronomical calculations in the Shatapatha Brahmana which use a fractional approximation of 339/108 ≈ 3.139 (an accuracy of 9×10−4) nor other Indian sources by about 150 BC which treat π as √10 ≈ 3.1622.

Cheers,

Philippe (Yes, I know ...... I'm smart........ and modest )

Are we off-topic?  :o

Is a similar calculation being used by the new ranking/search engine to provide equally accurate results?

8.32? You must have hit the 8 instead of the 1. It's understandable, we all make mistakes.  :P:D:lol:

Seriously though, that's an amazing CTR.

Geoff.

I'm not sure it means anything.

And no it's just copy paste not my oversized fingers.

Shouldn't it mean you get more sales per image than most? As is often confirmed in the "How was your month" thread?

I'm not sure why this thread was started but my CTR since 1st March is lowest ever - I've had dips a little below 0.5 before now on the graph but suddenly the last point on the graph (current month) is at 0.13. Fingers crossed it's only the operation of randomness but have others seen similar?

Does it make a difference if it's apple pi or chicken and mushroom pi?

(definitely off-topic now!)

If you eat all the pis will your waist be a perfect circle?  (Even further off topic)

I don't know, but it will be a very big circle!
