Ayubowan 0
Ayubowan ! In Sinhalese [ sri lanka's major language ] it says 'Live long'. This is my first blog post. I wonder what an Asian / Sri Lankan photographer could contribute to Alamy. Since buyers or publications are mainly from USA & Europe and they need photographs taken in their surroundings. Would they need Asian photographs ? I say in commercial basis ?
IanGibson 199
Welcome to the forum. If you search Alamy for Asian subjects you could shoot, you will get an idea of what has already been done. Don't copy it, but if you can improve the collection, or even better, find subject poorly covered, or not covered at all, you should enjoy success. Good luck, Ian
ReeRay 351
As Keith Morris (a high seller) once pointed out......... shoot in the place, not just the place. Works for me in Asia
