iPhone apps

Recommended Posts

Without using the "S" word, what apps are you using for your images taken on an iPhone.

Just enrolled for "you know what" and would appreciate a few hints on apps.

Thanks

Ray

I have snapseed, Mextures, Enlight. I also have ProCamera which can be used to take pictures.

As well as Snapseed, I also use Hipstamatic and Distressed FX.

I have Photoshop, Lightroom and, ProCamera on mine.  Since I am familiar with the PC versions of PS and LR it make it very easy to use the iPhone versions.

So can we upload images from iPhones to Alamy ?

Yes, download the Stockimo app, log in with you Alamy ID, and you are good to go.

It is worth looking at Stockimo images already on Alamy to get an idea of what they are looking for.

Thank You Ian, handy to know as its a camera that's with me all the time.

Just be aware that if you have any questions about S, Alamy consider it a separate brand and we are prohibited from discussing it here (see the "New rule" post at the top of the forum).

Be aware that you can't upload iPhone pics directly to Alamy (except perhaps news?) as they will not be of sufficient quality.

Also, check what portion of a sale you will get. Those of us already here when it began get 50% but I think you might only get 20%. I have found it to be rather fun but haven't made a sale yet.
