kay
I've been submitting images to Alamy live news - mainly weather images. Many of these would be (potentially) saleable as royalty free but this option is greyed out even once they are in the main collection. Does anyone know if there is there a way to change this that I'm missing or does it not seem to impact on later sales? Thanks, Kay
Niels Quist
By nature news images will be RM as there is no Editorial RF. You might ask Alamy Contributor Service to change the licence, but if there has been any activity around the image at all, I don't think this is possible - and especcially not when uploaded as news. You will have to think ahead and consider if those images should be uploaded as stock instead - or shoot visibly different editions for the two licences. AlessandraRC
They already parachute in your ready folder as RM and you cannot change it.
