Summer bank holiday?!? Seriously?  LOL

No, probably a well known fact of life and hard to miss when living in the UK, but not something most of us across the Channel will be familiar with.

Maybe Alamy could consider giving an announcement of sorts on the Customer Search Activity page when the next update will not be following the usual Mon-Friday schedule?

That said, it only explains for part of the missing data

I get the impression that there is a manual process to 'kick off' the processing of metrics and updating pictures to live and the likes.

If the person who normally does this manual step is on holiday, then it's possible that nobody is picking up the slack.

I read an interesting statistic yesterday, that with 8 bank holidays per year the UK has the smallest number apart from Mexico which has 7.

India and a couple of other places I cant remember have the largest number, with 18/year

You do have to remember though in most of Europe, at least, public holidays fall on specific dates. If that date happens to be at the weekend, tough, you don't get the following Monday off as we do here in the UK.

I am hoping Measures is broken and Alamy are fixing it - my zooms have been awful recently.

Zooms and sales slow the past week. Wish I'd known about the bank holiday since I sweated a failure yesterday that went through this morning.

I have enough stress in my life already. ;)

It now says updated on 29th at 10 am.  Something definitely broken here.

There is another thread about this already BTW

It is a BANK holiday.

So why do QC get it off?

We don't.
