Dear Alamyans,

 

An ID for these cacti would be appreciated, please. I'm also guessing that they need a drink and are therefore looking a bit sad - in fact, dying. Would I be right?

Look like ferrocactus.... Also known as mother in laws seat!  ;)  :rolleyes:

Thanks Phil. Hmm, there seem to be many varieties so I haven't yet found these specifically. I seem to have forgotten all my O-Level Biology so not quite sure what I'm talking about!

Echinocactus grusonii - possibly

I would agree with this.

They both look similar but I'll go with Echinocactus grusonii, thanks very much.
