I know there are forum members who despise threads like this, and I can understand why. However, some inquiring minds still want to know. Is anyone else having a very slow month? I've had zero sales so far in May and zooms are down over 50%. Just so I don't sound totally negative, April was a very good month for me (over $1K gross). More curiosity than complaint, really.

Zooms OK for me but sales are DIRE!!! Back to 2007 levels when I had a fraction of the number of images on sale.

My experience mirrors yours John.

April = BME

May = Nothing (so far)

It is baffling at times.

Just had my best Alamy sale ever. I'd like to celebrate... but I'm in Stornoway...

That's encouraging to hear. Good thing you're in Stornoway (wherever that may be).

The Caberfeidh should still be open John and there'll be no shortage of helpers willing to celebrate with you. ;)

Yes, indeed, a true roller coaster, especially this year for me. Not feeling very motivated to upload new images these days.

Better than 0, barely. Two sales so far this month. One is a nice panorama I spent hours worked on, licensed to Russian Federation for a paltry $14.51. On the other hand, they are at least PAYING for something. They could just send in "volunteer" paratroopers and take it... Like anything I can do to stop them :blink:

Quiet month so far but just had a $156 sale today so perhaps this thread has kickstarted buyers into action ....

Mediocre month so far, could be worse, but need to make some more sales in the last 10 days to get an average return..

I wonder if the UK election coverage has had anything to do with it ?

Good to hear that high value deals (JMo) are still to be done, it's living in hope that keeps me going.......

My last sale was on the 29th of April. Zooms are healthy but they don't seem to matter. I used to have more sales with less zooms.

A good month for invoices being paid which will deliver a good payout if nothing else.

Regards

Craig.

Not a great month so far and very few zooms.....I miss April!

Better month for me, doubled sales and zooms. Expect it to dry up as usual, though. Sale amounts kind of paltry. My share of the 4 doesn't add up to what I used to routinely get from one sale.

Me too. Perhaps it's time to start a "Bring Back April!" thread. B)

Similar here, April BME, May i've had 4 sales one of which was for £1174!!

Over the last 7 years i've been with Alamy May has been the worst month for me so I wasn't expecting great things.

Alright this end.

Already year 2015 is my second best in both volume and income. And still another seven months to go !

Just passed more than half of last year's total revenue on fewer than a third of last year's total sales - not sure what conclusions to draw from that

Doing unusually well so far.  Last month and this month has shown MANY more zooms than usual - makes me suspect there was a change to the zoom recording mechanism.

Yes, zooms are up but a slow month for sales - only two so far.  I feel like a punter at the racetrack - come on baby....

Slow here too, but had a nice one pop up this morning.

I have found that the first week of the month has been quiet for a while now - still ten days left for all those American textbook sales to come flooding in.

Zooms normal but sales poor - and MANY refunds!
