Ed Rooney
Still dragging my feet on selling things. For the NEX system I still own the Sony 16, 30 macro, 50 and the superstar -- the Sony/Zeiss 24 f.1.8, which focuses to 6.5". I also have the Sigma 30 and can use my old ai Nikon 105 f/2.5 with a cheap adopter that works fine. I would love to buy the Sony 10-18 f4, buy it's pricy. I will keep the 24, Sigma 30, 50 and sell the others. I've been using the RX10 a lot since early spring. I've had good luck selling equipment (some I now wish I had kept) on craigslist -- no shipping hassles involved and you can do much better than at camera stores. Although I've never been to Vancouver, I think I would feel somewhat less paranoid about sell valuables to strangers for cash than I do here in NYC. I have zero fear of walking my city's street these days carrying a camera, but I have not got a clear, step by step image in my mind of how a Craigslist transaction would go down. I sold a mint Nikon 14-24 f/2.8 to Adorama a few weeks ago. Let me give you all the numbers and my thinking: > I paid $1,950 for the zoom in about 2008. I had planned to put it up on eBay with a hold of $1,400. Adorama offered and paid me $1,060. Everything was done in a pleasant, efficient way. > eBay and PenPal would have taken about $200 in fees, leaving me with $1,200. But . . . I would have had to update my accounts on both PenPal and eBay, taken good pictures of the lens, written up and placed the ad, bought boxes and wrappings and insurance and done all the other things eBay sellers must do. > I see myself as paying $140 for NOT doing any of those things and NOT taking the risk of being scammed, another worry of mine. I think what I will do is try selling a few less-expensive items on Craigslist and hopefully learn from that.

I usually arrange to meet craigslist customers in a busy coffee shop, never at my place or in a deserted back alley. But, as you say, Vancouver is not exactly The Naked City. John Mitchell
Here's one taken with the NEX-6 and heritage Minolta 28m that I just uploaded. It's sharp, but not across the entire frame. I decided to downsize (mainly out of paranoia) somewhat to sharpen the edges. As mentioned, I really like the warm colour balance of this lens. P.S. This was handheld. I might have gotten more even sharpness with a tripod.
Bryan
Looks good to me! Does the camera's JPG processing take out the CA John? You mentioned that you intended to experiment with that.

Unfortunately it doesn't, but Sony has a lens correction app for the NEX-6 that allows you to create your own profiles for legacy lenses. Might give it a try if I can figure out how to download it.
