Have you found any alamy images April 2014

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I recently received a coffee table book as a gift that has many pictures from Alamy photographers in it.  The book is entitled "Off the Tourist Trail: 1,000 Unexpected Travel Alternatives" and published by Dorling Kindersley.

Here's the link to Google Books:

http://books.google.ca/books?id=RaR0yPKGAp4C&pg=PT62&source=gbs_selected_pages&cad=3#v=onepage&q&f=false

If you scroll to page 336 in the preview pages, you'll see the Alamy photographers listed there.  You'll want to increase the magnification: the font is tiny!

Odd  :(

Maybe the preview pages are only available for those in North America?

Alternative suggestion: try Googling "Off the Tourist Trail: 1,000 Unexpected Travel Alternatives Google Books selected pages".

One final attempt for Off the Tourist Trail: 1,000 Unexpected Travel Alternatives.

Link at Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/Off-Tourist-Trail-Unexpected-Alternatives/dp/B0096DDWTI

Try clicking on the "Look inside" button.  Font is small and preview quality seems poor, sorry about that.  :(   Also sorry in advance if the link doesn't work.  :(

You're amazing Jill, thanks so much for copying all of the names for the board!  That deserves a green arrow. :)

And just a general thanks to all of those who contribute regularly to the monthly "have you found any Alamy images" threads.  I'm sure I'm not only speaking for myself when I say your time and efforts are much appreciated.  :)

I don't normally comment on the pictures that I find, but this is lovely. I've tried several times to get decent images of bluebells in a wood, it's very difficult to deal with the extreme contrast and relative sizes of trees and flowers.
