rickygui
Hello fellow contributors. I am thinking what are the baby steps to help Alamy further improve for either contributor or buyer experience? I hope if possible. Alamy can auto rearrange the keywords in alphabetical order, automatically. So contributor can easily see there is no repeated keywords easily. Do share your thoughts.

Harry Harrison
Just to be clear, you mean in AIM? I think there might be problems in implementing this, when should the sorting happen, when you save your changes perhaps as opposed to every time you add a keyword? How would it work once you select more than one image, or an entire batch? I haven't tried it but I suspect that Alamy 'de-dupe' keywords before displaying them to the buyer as the same word can exist as a keyword and a supertag in AIM together. I use this online tool for both, but there are others. wim 1
Mr Standfast
1. Bring back the smiley emoji 2. Change the discoverability wording from "Images on sale with poor discoverability" to "images with less than 40 words, which might be enough", or something.... 3. Lower the Platinum threshold. 😉 Edited November 19 by Mr Standfast 2
Phil
3 hours ago, Mr Standfast said: 3. Lower the Platinum threshold. Do away with the tiers/thresholds completely. Given recent and on-going industry trends of large per image licensing revenue reductions the thresholds no longer reflect current reality. They're a measure of external market forces on contributors portfolios that are largely beyond contributors control. They're no longer realistic indicators of contributor portfolio quantity and quality, Edited November 19 by Phil
John Mitchell
Share the "work in progress" suitable smartphone list with contributors before December 2024. Some of us might like to take advantage of Xmas sales of phones and don't want to shell out for a new phone only to find out that it's "unsuitable."
