I would like you to criticize my portfolio.

Hi Pedro,

Welcome to the Forum.

Your images look very well developed and you have a good mix of subjects.

Some of your captions are too short, too vague or just jumbles of words, e.g.:

  • city, lisbon, area, pao, quay, columns, bridge, abril - Image ID: 2WBGCGW (word jumble)
  • Current ruins in Pompeii Archaeological Park.Pompeii-Naples-Italy. - Image ID: 2WGXTWE (too vague. Alamy's clients are looking for specific locations - you need to research the location; which part of Pompeii? Also, no point putting current. Your image will show up in searches for 'current' images because of the date it was taken, you don't need to write the word 'current'. )
  • Top of the iberdrola building seen from the street of Bilbao-basque country-spain.13-3-2024 - Image ID: 2WR36M9 (no point putting the date in the caption unless it's a live news image or a specific event. You're just wasting characters. The image taken date is automatically in the image data).

Captions are also searchable by clients as well as your keywords.  I try to add concepts when I can't fill out the caption otherwise. Here's an example:
