0 Stefano Ravera
Are there any rule for what I can mark as exclusive? I dont remember where I read that I cant mark as exclusive a picture of a painting since it would be difficult to determine if the picture is shot by a photographer od another. 0 Kent Johnson
Really? Do Alamy only chase infringement if you have ticked the exclusive box? I unticked all mine after they REMOVED the extra 10% they USED to pay. That is quite a curious situation. Yes, because if you are with other agencies, your photos could have been stolen from another source.

All mine are non-exclusive yet I've had a few infringement payments - maybe the infringer used an image with an Alamy watermark?

I think another contributor said that they had had infringement payments pop up even though their images are not marked as exclusive.
0 mpalis
I have receive a fine of 150USD from a photo due to exclusiveness. The photo was not exclusive in Alamy. I don't know why. I did ask for clarification from support
0 Radim
among other things, I would also be interested in why there is no box in the attributes - exclusive and not exclusive

I do not want to see them competing over the same image. Lastly, if a license is granted, I want to know that I agree with the terms and fees. FYI, I am occasionally not happy with those, but at least if the image (s) are exclusive I know who to complain to....... Chuck 1

I'm such a total goof. I knew I had seen it before. I thought it was another "improvement" from Alamy. Thank you, Harry, for the heads-up and apologies to Alamy. Unfortunately, I’m probably at a point where I don’t expect things to improve.
