spacecadet
They won't do much for the optical quality. Supplementary lenses never did, unless they were very expensive.
MDM
There is a huge market in accessories for iPhone photography and videography. There are cages, lenses, filters, microphones, mini-tripods you name it. Add a few of these gizmos and the weight would be more than a mirrorless cameras and a lot more unwieldy, negating the experience of having a pocket camera to hand. I don’t know if there is a shield available for the screen for shooting outdoors in bright light - that would be handy if not too bulky. The one thing I got for video is a mini-gimbal which is fantastic for additional stabilisation but not necessary for photography. Yes, whenever I see a behind the scenes video about a movie made 100% with iPhones, I can't even see the phone inside the giant rig. I have to say that some of the Moment stuff looks interesting. I can be J. J. Abrams with an anamorphic lens with blue flare! Edited October 25 by Mark Scheuern
