Jeffrey Isaac Greenberg
News, sports, weather, entertainment, advertising, series, movies, etc. its all protected, right? unless its in public domain, & how would one know that in real time? unreleased-not-yet-licensed editorial stock photos of broadcasted TV screen does NOT receive “fair use” protection until licensed & usage determined, right…? Stock photo in which TV screen < 50% of image AND other 50% of image contains element(s) making overall image unique might be fair use in advance of licensing…? can anyone suggest easy to arrange easily available elements that would NOT detract from whatever is on screen…? E.g, takeout meal in front of screen? (problem with that if screen content has nothing to do with eating-food) I make TV screen images when traveling internationally – hotel room, cruise cabin… Thanks in advance PS. hand + remote is a start, need more... Steve F
I've licensed pictures of broadcasts on tv screens. I generally have the TV at equal to or less than 50% of the overall image. Any context around should be fine. This one might be a bit busy for you!

Your TV is ~10% of total image & socks are funky... It triggered stream of consciousness: Can I buy cheap mannequins? https://www.google.com/search?q=buy+mannequin+under+$60 Will airlines grant “comfort mannequins” free extra carry-on status? Can I buy 6-toed mannequin for a medical angle? Edited August 9 by Jeffrey Isaac Greenberg
