Yesterday I submitted photos relating to Five companies in The SK:N group ceasing trading.  (It is a cosmetic surgery group).  However, when I checked this morning the keyword SK:N does not work and breaks the keyword into SK and N.  The photos do not show up when using the keyword SK:N.  I don’t want to use the keys words skin group as that is another organisation (Your Honour).  Any suggestions?

Ian, Why not put SK N (no semi colon, just a space). Clients wont be able to search for the SK:N either.

Do you know what the LSE ticker symbol is ? You could also use that (?)

Also SKN group of course.

There are a few key words here (though you've probably used all these).

More info here - which sets out the individual companies within the group: https://www.gov.uk/government/news/five-skn-group-companies-in-liquidation-information-for-patients-employees-and-creditors

I see your images do come up when searching for 'sk n' as BidC has suggested. Buyers must be just as perplexed, on a (the?) major competitor's site 'SK:N' gets converted to  a search for 'SKKN'  and of course nothing comes up for 'SK:N' though there is actually a company called 'SKKN'.

As a general rule with Alamy's search punctuation is ignored so 'SK:N' just becomes SKN and you just get images of the airline, and quotes don't

override that as you've found. I don't think Alamy can have anticipated anyone using a ':' as a normal letter, Google is OK with it of course but I suspect their search engine learns as it goes along.

Oh yes - didn't check that ! Forget using SKN.

Plus there doesn't seem to be a ticker code (for the stock exchanges)

What will buyers wanting SK:N images search?
They will search SK:N which will give them SKN images.
So, IMO, keyword all SK:N images SKN plus whatever to

distinguish them from ~1798 unrelated SKN images already on Alamy...
