geogphotos Posted July 14 Share Posted July 14 I'm finding the Photoshelter site very slow and cumbersome this morning - pages not loading, keywords not saving, just clunky and weird performance. Time-consuming and frustrating. Just wondered if other have noticed the same. From experience I know that contacting PS they will just bounce it back to me and say the problem is at my end. I don't really use it, certainly haven't uploaded anything to it for ages but I'm going to have to shortly. Weirdly at some point the Navigation symbols below the gallery image seem to have changed to something random - 'e' for Previous, 'b' for Next Image, 's' for 'Thumbnails, '|' fpr Pause, 'n' fpr Ful Screen & '8' for Share. I don't remember what they were of course, I'd better have a look under the bonnet. Did Photoshelter ever come up with all those upgrades they were promising years ago? No, on that front I feel quite disillusioned with them. About once a year we get an email mentioning all the exciting things on the horizon but nothing ever actually arrives. It is working as normal today so I just get on and use it in the way that I know. Probably new 'improvements' would just make everything harder for me. Apparently, "mandatory Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)" will be added to PS websites soon. I just use what you might call the 'front end' for galleries but I had rather hoped that they were going to bring in extra features as they were promising to do about 4 years ago.
