Hi all, how do you upload images here? I must be missing something. Tried to go with "Insert image from URL" pasting a link to an Alamy page with a specific image (e.g. https://www.alamy.com/2PNWDW0) but that did not work.

Thanks.

Ivan

Working in Image Manager is easiest. Right click on the large thumbnail, select "copy image link" and paste into the forum.

If you want a larger image, replace "zooms" with "comp" in the URL.

Thanks. Interesting. In the image manager I have nothing but thumbnails. Let's see how it works with manual replacement of "thumbs" with "comp". Seems that I have to also remove some redundant /3/ from the address line.

It's about a few seconds of luck after several months of drought...

Correct.

I meant the in-between size of image you see when you click on the + on the thumbnail, but your way is even quicker.

In Far North Queensland is a World Heritage area of magical tropical rainforest and idyllic beaches by the Coral Sea. It's called Cape Tribulation and the Daintree National Park.

We have recently been camping right in its heart. Sunrises there were fabulous. Even hubby got up!! Most of the time, we had the beach to ourselves.

A huge lace monitor crawled towards me with its forked tongue out and retreated when hubby came out.

Australia must be like Brazil.
Quite south with plenty of population and wild northeast north!
But I believe that it is less dangerous than Brazil and I am not talking about animals!

In Image Manager first enlarge the image then right-click for option to copy address. Other method involves going to the image in a search, enlarging it and dragging onto the search bar. Then copy that URL. The URL then gets pasted here after clicking "Insert image from URL.

Jeff, do you have a tablet? While I do all developing & uploading on my iMac, I read the forum on my iPad. To post an image from iPad, not sure about other tablets…

Go to Image Manager>search>key in image ID number in search bar>hit “return”. The image pops up & I enlarge it, then hold my finger on it until I see option to copy & choose that.

Go to forum, put curser where you want the image, then at the bottom, choose “insert image from url” “paste” then “enter” I haven’t used my desktop for this in…like forever it seems. Since getting an iPad forever ago. Somebody way back had to tell me how to post an image also. It took me awhile to get it.

He did. He swallowed it. Did not do any good.🤪

Sorry Jeff could not resist.  Only in fun.

NO! Don't beat me up, please.
