stemming hack via keyword symbology

Recommended Posts

many of us know what "%" does in AoA, e.g., %farm%

well mates, I tried placing %XXXXX% in tags field to see

if I'd call up image in searches of XXXXXs, XXXXXer, XXXXXing, etc.

no such luck old chaps

if willing, anyone else's discoveries of ways to avoid laborious

manual stemmings via secret symbol or other hacks appreciated...

its about saving time, isn't it...

I use IMatch which has an inbuilt thesaurus where synonyms can be attached to keywords.  So if I enter a keyword it automatically adds stemmings, synonyms, alternative spellings, Latin names etc.

Every time a new keyword is used it's automatically added to the thesaurus.

Interesting. I wonder if there are any open source -- i.e. free -- programs like IMatch suitable for keywording, etc.

Other than microstock keyword generators, that is.
