I never thought a Presentation would make me happy. But this one does, for several reasons:

 

1. I shot it because it was on Alamy's list 'what to shoot'. Wanted was 'family barbecue'

2. It forced me to make an effort to take pictures of people

3. It was taken in my beloved adoptive home town of Cairns.

Or three.   Cows Again. You do well with them Andy.  The diesel pump image was a natural at this time. Great forward thinking again.

It was originally going to be 2 pics but I thought I'd throw the third one in.  I love cows - I'm just back from shooting a farmer for a local rag. Yeah, that definitely wasn't your car lol.

This sale came through this afternoon, the result of walking around some of my home town's filling stations early Saturday am, then late afternoon. I needed the exercise anyway.

 

Website, app and social media, Upday personalised news app exclusive to Samasung. low value just under mid $ and RM. Lowest for quite some time, but a sale is a sale. With no Alamy updates for some time I was dreading my reportage images might not show until the fuel panic was all back to normal.

Had 2 distributor sales overnight to Japan for book use, both for this image, high $$ each. These are the 3rd and 4th licences for this photo, making it my highest gross earner (not the highest net though). The other good news is it takes me over last years total gross revenue (but again not net!).
