How not to caption.....

Still doesn't addressed the timing.  If he is found guilty tomorrow, can you publish an image dated three weeks ago stating guilty?  If judgement overturned in a year, do you have to change your caption? 

We caption with the facts as they are today. eg. "XXX pictured on 15th February, 2021,  was found guilty of shoplifting today 16th March." If the Appeal court quashes the conviction next year we don't go back and change the old caption. It's truth doesn't change. It's up to the buyer of an image next year to check the facts of guilt or otherwise as they are then.
