I don't use LR, but it's the same in Adobe Camera Raw. My biggest gripe is that it throws parts of my image out of the frame and deletes these as soon as I save the image or open it in Photoshop.  The other is that I cannot see what I'm doing. There are of course workarounds, but those are not necessary in Viewpoint.
