Have you found any Alamy photos February 2021 ?

NP.

I didn't actually use Google directly, I used the browser AddOn Search by Image.

I have it set up to search for images by certain defined search engines. This time I just reverse-searched on the Alamy site.  The way the images are added to that article make it a little awkward as the file extension when you rt-click to 'view image' is .webp, (example). I simply changed that to .jpg (example), then rt-clicked to search by image on the Alamy site - and there they are. As with all reverse image searches, it's not perfect, and the example I give (for the header image) didn't work by reverse searching the Alamy site. I tried TinEye - which only has the image listed on another stock site; Bing has it listed on a further different stock site; then - finally! - both Google and Yandex have links to the image on Alamy! But for each search, I used Search by Image. Highly recommended.

Just seen your other link. I'll take a look.

Thanks for the info Danny. Just shows how much effort Bryan makes!

Hopefully he'll be back soon.

Great, thanks Danny. Not sure how you find the images on Alamy. When I did a google search not one appeared as Alamy!

Tony just drop the newspaper image into https://tineye.com/

this should come up with the info/ link.

A load of Alamy traffic images here including one of mine. No idea if they are legit or not - haven't had a sale for mine.

Thank you Sally. That's my image of the bus lane, which was zoomed. It's too soon to see it reported but I wouldn't think it would be an issue with a mainstream magazine site.

Yes, agree. Some magazines report sales of images before they are printed and others months afterwards. No clear pattern it seems.

Low traffic neighbourhoods was searched for couple of times in January - very topical! Some people have done well out of it!!

I appear to have had two uses of images of National Portrait Gallery (Scottish) in the FT on Feb 2nd but cannot see them due to the paywall. Anyone here got access and could take a screenshot for me?

I've just followed your link and there's an article on January 22nd of Robert Burns statue...that likely be the one? Can't find any articles on the 2nd Feb related to national portrait gallery

Here you go, Sally: 2CGTDCJ

Let me know when you've downloaded it, so I can remove it from my site. Thanks!

I don't have an account with them, BTW. You can subscribe for free, then you get access to two or three articles per month. Worthwhile to chase up the odd usage.

EDIT: Tried my best to search for more Robert Burns or Scottish National Portrait Gallery images, but without success. Used up my allowance now! Best of luck in finding the rest.
