RM sales after acquisition

Recommended Posts

Corona has changed what will sell. My sales have also dropped. I think British / American photographers, etc. will do better in this situation - as any tourist sector uses, books, booklets, etc. is on on hold. Zooms going up now, though, also in subjects I would not expect. The acquisition may also influence on sales from non-English speaking countries.

Indeed, the last 20 pages of your port is Alamy Live News.... is this the secret of your success here?

Yep - news is the reason for my success and there's a lot more than 20 pages of news.  Be aware, news is stressful, a gamble and involves a lot of travelling, BUT the rewards are well worth it. If you've any questions just ask, although there are far better press photographers than me on Alamy.

Yes, I would blame the pandemic, not the acquisition, for the downturn. It's a whole new ballgame out there now, and who knows what lies down the road. I think that we're all going to have to learn how to adjust.
