OK, it's probably the nerd in me, but I don't like rambling acres of repetition, which makes it more difficult to see the wood for the trees.  I'm always grateful to see the efforts of contributors acknowledged, but I wonder if we could refrain from copying and pasting the whole dialogue, rather than do as Iain and most others do, i.e. just re-post the bits that refer to them?

It would also help if contributors confined their posts from a particular source to a single message. I know that there are problems of system stability and, to that end I frequently save the message between new additions. It only takes a second or two to save and then re-open. Indeed the Times is normally updated throughout the day, and if I find new results hours later  I will just edit the existing post.

Sermon over, have an enoyable and  sinful day! 😉

A useful post, Bryan. It takes a minute or so to edit a quote to remove sections not relevant to the point one wants to make or to say 'thank you' for your sterling work in spotting images usage, but editing the quote does make the thread as a whole more easily readable.

My main point in posting, however, is to check if you are aware that the Times has now made the print edition available as a e-paper, that is, a complete facsimile of the print edition accessible on screen. I suspect it is only available to subscribers, but the link to it is here.

Keep up the good work.

Or just highlight a sentence or two from the original post - like I've done here - which brings up a box - 'quote selection' - to click...
