Steady wins the race. You could be right.

Is it too late to place a bet?

Icy pathway by Bow River in Canmore, Alberta during deep freeze couple of winters ago.   Low $$$

bow-river-walking-path-during-winter-in-

This pic has been lying down several years without download anywhere & I thought it would never sell but what do you know.  Incidentally, we have weekend forecast for 50cm of snow, I wonder if that had anything to do with a sale?

RF editorial only.$$$ A 50% Alamy sale directly to a French client for full page in a French language book, print and/or e-book. No sharing commission with a stinking international French subagent. GO ALAMY GO.

The takeover of valuable farmland by suburban sprawl is a constant environmental soft news complaint in Ontario, so I have amassed a collection of images on that subject. I am now looking for a tractor plowing a field in the space occupied by the hay bales in this image. When I stumble across that better scene, I will be ready.

Yes, I'm sure you'll make plenty of sales with this shot over the years (though I'm aching to 'disappear' the hand on far left with the clone tool!)

Thank you !

I had some spare time in beautiful Budapest,  so I hired a bicycle to get around. Glad that I made a trip to the zoo (I went to the same zoo in January too !).

Well, it's selling already, so no problem. But, even though the hand is so small, I find it really distracting. I'd be tempted to 'zap' it - and straighten up the vertical bars - and upload it to replace the earlier version. Or am I being too picky??

I may just do that, and zap it. I tend not to clone things out tho, except for little birds that could be mistaken for a dust bunny.

I didn't see it at first only when it was mentioned. I don't think I'd bother to alter a seller.

if it really bothers you, can't you simply just crop more toward the right; once you clone and remove items no matter how small, then you can't ethically sell it as an editorial.

I disagree. Alamy doesn't require an image to be declared as editorial only. It's not news and it's not Reuters. Tidying up a pic is fine if it's declared- there's a box for that in AIM, although I'm not sure this would count as "digitally manipulated".

Cropping would compromise the composition a bit.
