Located in Inverie on the Knoydart peninsula, it is cut off from the UK mainland road network, thus meaning access can only be made either by a 7 mile sea crossing or a 40 minute ferry ride departing from Mallaig. For those that prefer terra ferma, then an 18 mile hike is what awaits if you want to reach the pub on foot. KHA
I'm posting this image, but usually I'm deterred by the thought of reading through all the previous posts to find out if it's already been posted. I always wonder if maybe it would be easier to create and link to a cloud-based spreadsheet that forum members could access that would be alphabetized, and also sortable by date of publication/date of posting/name of publication/name of finder/etc., so people could quickly see if their names were listed or if the picture they'd found had already been accounted for. What do people think? Update: I just used the search function on this thread, and Ron Niebrugge's name didn't show up anywhere else, so I guess this find hasn't been posted by anyone yet. [Pasted his name, and can't get the bolding to turn off on the rest of this sentence.] https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2019/may/13/alaska-sightseeing-plane-crash-tourists-royal-princess-cruise Guardian Caption and Credit: The town of Ketchikan, Alaska, near where the crash occurred.
