Thank you, Brizbee. I've tried Safari, Firefox and Chrome. I don't have Edge, but I'll look into it.

Tim!

So, I've downloaded and tried Opera and Vivaldi - still no dice. And, I work in Mac OS so Edge is not a likely option (I hardly ever use Parallels or anything like that - haven't updated those in years). :(

OK, I finally got it!  I've been trying to make this work on my Mac Pro with various browsers to no avail. Then I thought, let's try the iPad - and it worked like a charm. :)

Okay, so not just late to the party, but the party might be over.  Played with the header/banner until the page refused to update it and just left it blank, so I think I'll leave what I have there ffor now.   Wish it were possible to move categories tabs around to change places or change their order.  Not quite happy with what I've done with mine but would have to delete an entire category and start over just to have the tab where I want it to be.  This so far https://www.alamy.com/portfolio/helensessions

In the light of recent developments I have made my portfolio invisible.

I never have had any intention of saturating social media with my images, especially at the request of Alamy

I think this is my final version

I have put it on Facebook, and for the first time ever, have paid £19 to have the link boosted to several thousand people unknown to me (I dont have that many friends!). I may have that many enemies if they don't want to receive it!

Will be interesting to see if I get any extra sales as a result of doing this - will let you know!

Cheers

What target audience did you use in the ad Kumar? It is difficult to envisage how you would define an audience that would be interested in stock images and defining the audience is a key part of Facebook advertising. If you are aiming to sell prints, then it might be better just to send people to a website or even your own Facebook page (or Instagram possibly even better) or even to a specialist PoD site as the rate here for Personal Use is very poor.

The thing with the personal Alamy portfolio in general is that you are not just advertising yourself, you are advertising everyone else who has similar images and Alamy itself for that matter.

Sounds like an interesting topic for discussion at the next Cambridge meetup - I wonder if anyone from Alamy will come :D.

I do like this in terms of the ability to show chosen images but the old "your Alamy homepage" only searches within your own images (though there is a way to go to the Alamy homepage).

Thank you very much!

I guess you recognized some places you know much better than I do ;).

Ah yes, but I haven't been to French Polynesia. One day maybe. I'm in tomorrow's lottery draw.
