Hi I'm a new to Stock photography and Alamy, After you have submitted your photos, and they have passed QC, do you khave to keep all the originals youself or can you delete them as they will already be with Alamy. Thankyou

I contribute at a few stock platforms and Alamy is the only one that does QC on a submission/batch level instead on an individual level. So I upload 15 photos, my submission failed, and I have no idea at all why and no idea which photo was the reason for it. How should I learn about that so that I can correct the single photo or leave it out. Now all other photos got rejected as well. From my point of view a very strange approach to do the quality control. One or more images failed QC. This means the remaining images have been rejected without being assessed. I really do not know how to deal with that.

Hi, Does Alamy accept motion imagine and if so what is the process to upload as can't see how to do it from my dashboard? Or is a matter of joining another Library for video? Many thanks Tom

Hi all and Alamy, we may sometimes mistakenly submit one or two images that are not upto Alamy standard in a batch of hundreds (as I did). If you know you are gonna fail QC but you can't delete or cancel the submitted images other than wait for failure (you already know the reason yourself). Wouldn't it be nice if there is a Cancel Submission button with every batch or submission? we don't want to harm qc history, and it would also save reviewers' time in case unintentional mistake is made with submitting.

https://www.alamy.com/myupload/index.aspx?login=1 Anytime I try uploading my first 3 Stock photos for approval though it shows 3 photos are submitted it ends up appearing as 2 in it's course of processing which is ultimately unapproved. This is 8th time it's happening. Please help me out. Thanks

I have lost most of my stars in Alamy and want to gain them back. My last several submissions have passed, but I am curious if anyone knows which counts more, batches or individual pictures. Do we get a bigger ding on our rankings because of all the pictures rejected in a batch? Does the algorithm say , "Oh, we just rejected one batch, so that's a point off of Susan," or does it say, "We just rejected 20 images, so that's 20 points off Susan?" I saw a recommendation somewhere to submit in small batches. If I submit many one or two picture batches that pass, will I gain my stars back more quickly? Does anyone know? Thanks for any insight.

Hello Everyone:) This is a repeat of a question I posted this last Saturday... How many times does one have to submit 3 photos to be approved by Alamy Quality Control? I have the email from Alamy, sent to me on August 22nd approving my 3 photos & welcoming me to Alamy - I took that to mean that I'd passed the test. But maybe not...? I've looked through the site & have not found any info - I will be the first to admit I might have overlooked something though:) Any info on this would be greatly appreciated. Regards, Elizabeth - aka tinyninjacat

Greetings everyone. Been an active stock photographer on other platforms, I am a new contributor to Alamy. Recently I got confused as I didn't find a button or link to add image(s) to an existing submission. An amateur landscape/cityscape photographer, usually I would shoot around 100+ photos in raw format every time going outdoors. Then I would post-process, classify and upload them with several times in a slow pace. It's quite inconvenient being unable to supplement a submission. Can anyone tell me how to add images to an existing submission in the Alamy image manager portal? Thanks.

My browser crashed when I was submitting my 3 test photos, and it apparently only submitted 1/3 and I can't go back and upload the other 2. Is there a way to reset my "Test Photo" submission, or do I have to wait the 48 hours to try again?
