  1. Hi Guys, Someone knows if there is a possibilities to filter his pics in AIM for having only "Don't sell for personal use including single copy, non-retail wall art prints" attributes by chance? I have plenty won this status and I need to review them. Thanks for your feedback and help,
  2. Well, I guess it's about time to have my portfolio reviewed. It's been just over a year since I began uploading regularly. I wanted to feel my way into a bit and actually have something to be reviewed before posting here. I have experimented with photographing various things, and establishing my personal boundaries with regard to choice of subject matter. Decided I didn't want to shoot photos just to sell them, and would only take photos if I found something beautiful in them. See my "Does stock photography change your eye" thread regarding that. I have gone from being a prolific iphone camera hobbyist to investing in a mirrorless Sony a6000 and trying to up my game and perhaps sell a few photos professionally. I do think this practice has evolved my photography and I find it as thrilling as ever to produce and/or edit images on a near daily basis. I give credit to the very generous helpers here in this forum for any and all of my successes. I was sort of "shooting in the dark" there at the beginning. I do not yet have much control over the camera and have relied heavily on auto settings. I continue to ponder where to bring it all next, what to do with my photos, what to shoot and for whom. Let me know if you have any tips or insights, or ideas about how to move forward. Thanks a bunch! Kristin aka The Blinking Eye https://www.alamy.com/portfolio/kristincato
  3. Hi Photographers, I have joined Alamy in September 2019 and made 2 sales within December while having only 4 images in portfolio with average optimization. After a dormant 8 months I started uploading more images from August 2020 and have tried to optimize each including the old 4. But I don't see any sales happening. Are my expectations too early or the optimizations have gone overboard? It will be great if you can visit https://www.alamy.com/portfolio/soumyajitphotography and share your valuable feedback. Thanks, Soumyajit
  4. Hi, I am seventeen years old and after taking photos (mainly of wildlife) for several years decided to try Alamy. I have only uploaded about 60 photos but have noticed that I have no zooms per about 160 views so was wondering if there is something I am doing wrong or something to improve on. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
  5. Was wondering if anyone could possibly review my portfolio ? https://www.alamy.com/portfolio/bridgetcatterall I joined Alamy in 2016, but have only really been submitting frequently this year. I cover 'live News' when able, mostly in London as strangely its more difficult to find out what's going on locally. However there are so many excellent London photographers, I don't really expect sales unless they sell as stock later (I have had a few sales this way). My local newspapers do not employ photographers, (having made their last remaining tog redundant this year) and ask the public to send in photos for publication, so I can't see any way way they would pay for images ! But I am trying to build up a stock portfolio - sadly no gorgeous and bouncing children to photograph, but nonetheless I am looking to find subjects and topics of interest to document. I enjoy doing this primarily, but would also like to boost sales Thanks to anyone kind enough to take a look ! Bridget
  6. Please take a look at my portfolio. I would appreciate any comments and suggestions for improvement. I have learned a lot from all of you on this forum by reading your posts the past few months (I guess they call that lurking!) and look forward to seeing your comments for ways I can improve my photography and sales of my photos. Thanks in advance! https://www.alamy.com/portfolio/kirkhewlett
