Q1. When shooting 'editorial' in a public space with only a limited number of people, is there a financial advantage in getting a model release for each individual, if it is practical to do so? Q2. Is there a consensus of opinion re including facial features in editorial as opposed to not including them. i.e. do back of head/ rear end shots fare better in terms of sales than those with identifying photos? Hi all, I recently visited the Serpentine Gallery in London and took a few pics of Grayson Perry's wonderful pink 'Patience' chopper. I have looked on their website re any restrictions regarding selling photos commercially and can find nothing specific that relates to this. Does anyone know what their policy is? Is it OK to put on Alamy for sale, if the sale is for Editorial purposes only? Any info much appreciated. Rgds, John
Hi, I'm completely new to Alamy or selling photographs online and I just have a legal question which confuses me a bit: In addition to others, I have a lot of nice pictures that were taken from public streets but feature recognizable buildings in the background (for example from the Vegas strip. Pics that show some of the hotels in the background, day or night) Also cityscape views taken from my room that show a number of the hotels, but from a far distance. One can read the hotel logos (such as "Caesar's Palace," "Bally's" etc, but, again, it's at a distance, no real details of the h
