Hi, I am a contributor at Alamy and I have a question about my account. I recently started shooting in the studio with models and I want to upload this photos (with Model Releases). Since my current account is comprised mainly from landscape photos, should I create a new account for people photos? If I upload people photos to this account will it affect my sales potential in any way ? Thanks !

Hello, I have been a member of Alamy for a long time, but I had not yet participated in the forum, I am a great fan of mountain photography, in particular of the Dolomites, living nearby! When I can I travel in Alps. In last two years I'veI reviewed and improved my portfolio images; for those who want to can see my gallery, and if you have tips, always welcome! Good photos! 😃 https://www.alamy.com/portfolio/650682.html

I am just looking to double check that except for rare specific buildings no property release is needed for landscape type pictures of houses/towns/villages. I have taken a few pictures from high places looking out over towns - you have churches houses roofs streets etc. There are also visible but tiny cars, posters etc.

Hi I am new to the forum and this is my very first post just to introduce myself. I started with photography since 2008 when I got my first digital camera but first uploaded on stock around mid 2012. Like many photographers I shoot almost anything but my interest lies in travel, destination and landscape photography. Initially Alamy sales were far and few but now I have started getting fmore requent sales, almost 1-3 sales every month. I am hoping for many more sales as my portfolio grows. Wish a best of luck and many more sales to all the contributors . Shahid A Khan

Hello, everyone. I'm a beginner at all this--professional photography, that is. I've been taking photos for a very long time, though, and hope my hobby can finally earn me some spare cash. I've been searching through the FAQS to find an answer for an important question, but haven't yet seen anything about this. What about photos digitized from film? There won't be any EXIF data for them; I can manually put in some, but it will be approximate in many cases. Can I do this?
