Getty Creative will stop accepting RM material today 6th November 2019, all RM images will be removed from new single licensing by the end of January 2020. Premium Access customers will be able to access RM images until November 6, 2020. -
I saw an article this week that over the next year Getty is phasing out all RM images in favor of all RF. I have been holding the line for years offering mainly RM licenses. With Getty announcing this move I'm wondering if it is time to cave in to the momentum and reassign my RM to RF. Thoughts from the group? -
Looks like Google have made it (slightly) harder to save images on their image search facility, which has to be a good thing. It's not going to solve the problem of image theft but every little bit helps in my view .... http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-43085053 Marc -
In another turn and twist of the stock industry, Getty has just announced the end of its deal with Flickr. Apparently Flickr and G could not come to terms, so its being converted into a G collection called "moments". Not seen any further details though. -
