  1. To get this topic out of the iMac thread, and to explore art in all forms besides photographs. What do you do? I have seen beautiful art carved from wood, working with clay making bowls, things made from molten glass. All of it art. Then, there is digital art. Some from scratch, some started as photographs but were changed in artistic ways. Then there is painting. Acrylics, watercolor, oils. And mixed media, like watercolor and ink, or using combos of paint and things like paper, burlap, other fabrics. Do you partake? I do watercolor, watercolor and ink,
  2. I will not be getting into crypto art because I do not understand the marketing side of that business. However I will take direction from the super saturated style. The same supersaturated style in most music videos. Watch all videos for the future of stock photography style. https://www.theglobeandmail.com/arts/art-and-architecture/article-crypto-art-is-gaining-traction-and-one-of-its-biggest-stars-is-an/
  3. I have some images uploaded, but not yet keyworded, from this outdoor installation in Boston: https://www.rosekennedygreenway.org/public-art/currently-greenway/glow/ I am hesitating putting them on sale because I'm not sure if these are considered works of art that should only be submitted in wider context. One other photographer has images of these signs available on alamy. He has them marked royalty free, and NOT as property--but I wonder about that since the exhibition states they are on loan from the people who own them. That sounds like property to me.
  4. I am beginning to think about fine art prints of landscapes of my local area and selling in shops that may be interested. Can anyone suggest any good online services that offer runs of postcards for colour and B/W prints, and even business cards ? Thanks.
  5. Newbie here! I'm wondering how other abstract artists and illustrators are doing with sales. I'd also love to know your thoughts on keywording.... do you get all 50 in? Are you using non-color color-names like peach? Is still life one keyword or two? I'd welcome advice on keywords. I use Photoshop the most (for repeating patterns as well as abstract compositions), but am starting to think of putting my repeating vectors online too. Is Alamy the right place for this? Is vector illustration selling better than raster? This is the first time I've licensed,
  6. Anybody out there who have some experience with online art sites, e.g, RedBubble / Saatchi, i am with both and not much is happening in regard to sales or inquiry's, thinking of trying elsewhere. Thank's in advance to those who can offer advice. Cheers, Paul.
