  1. Don't get excited, I haven't abandoned my Mac. Hubby got a new computer, and he's coming from XP. That is also the last Windows I had before switching to Mac. We took his old computer in which had zillions of photo folders on the desktop, and the tech guy put them all in one folder on the new computer running 8.1. I'm the one who had to activate Windows, and got that done. Which I think is a crock! Especially since hubby is no longer connected to the Internet. I digress. I'm lost on this operating system, and for the life of me, I can't find hubby's picture folder. Don't even have a clue where to look. What to click on, how to set it up. I did find the Windows folder that says "pictures" but clicking on that says the folder is empty. So I don't know where else to look. I have to figure everything out, then tell/ show hubby. I would appreciate someone telling me how to navigate to find that folder. The tech guy said he transferred about 35,000 JPEGs. No, that's not a typo. If we can ever find that bloated folder, I'm pushing for some serious culling. Help appreciated. Betty
  2. I have an Epson Perfection 3170 PHOTO scanner and I want to know if it is possible to get it to run on Windows 8.1. So far I have been unable to source a driver.
  3. I would like to know if anyone using Adobe Photoshop Elements 12 on Windows 8.1 (64 bit) is encountering compatability problems. I have come across a number of posts on the internet reporting difficulties with this combination.
