  1. I submitted below three pictures to Alamy and all three were rejected as they were "soft or lacking definition". Since these are shot in low light and are panoramic, getting all the edges sharp is not possible without upgrading your gear or the camera body itself. I submitted the same pictures to another stock image hosting company and they rejected it but the reasons were more understandable like 'Logo/Brand visible', 'Incorrect tagging, ' Intellectual property'. These comments can be worked up on and same images can be re-submitted. But how to you get the images to look sharper with non pro
  2. I've tried seven different times to upload images to try and be approved as a contributor. I am rejected every time. I keep getting the "Soft or lacking definition Marked difference in definition between low-res comp & when viewed at 100%" term. I literally have no idea what that means and have no technical understanding even when I'm looking at their .pdf on rejection terms. The example is a girl with pink hair standing beside a blue wall.   3. Hello, I am new to Alamy and getting a feel for what passes for quality. I recently had an image rejected for SOLD and I was curious if anyone here would be willing to suggest if this is a processing error, or something about my field craft that is causing the image to fail.   4. I had turned in my 4 pictures for approval and got the response to all of them, "Soft or lacking definition" . Im not sure what they mean by this because i felt like the images were all pretty good.
