  1. Hi all, I have quite a decent sized portfolio of images but don't think that sales are commensurate with effort. Is this because most all of my images are RM? Does anybody have a useful comparison sales wise between rights managed images and royalt free images? Cheers, Steve
  2. Couldn't find the answer in the forum. In RM licensing, when someone buys a license, can the image be sold anyone else with RM license again or should it need to be waited for the first license time to over?
  3. Hi all, I recently visited the Serpentine Gallery in London and took a few pics of Grayson Perry's wonderful pink 'Patience' chopper. I have looked on their website re any restrictions regarding selling photos commercially and can find nothing specific that relates to this. Does anyone know what their policy is? Is it OK to put on Alamy for sale, if the sale is for Editorial purposes only? Any info much appreciated. Rgds, John
  4. Hello everyone. Back on the forums after several years of absence. This has probably been asked dozens of times, but here goes. 100% of my images have been RM since 2008, and I've always been reluctant to offer anything as RF. Am I being too cautious? I understand that RF gives the buyer unlimited use of my images, but to be honest, some of my RM sales seem to have a very long rights period for the buyer, with very little revenue coming my way anyway. I think we're all generally seeing sluggish zooms and sales, but I was wondering if they would improve if I offered at least some images as RF? Your thoughts and experiences would be appreciated.
