I was cleaning up some old files that had more than 50 keywords now that the new interface has improved, making it seem less daunting, and discovered that it is more of a mess than I had anticipated. Many of my images seem to have most of the keywords doubled, and not because I put a word in singly and then as part of phrase (although that does account for some issues) but instead some of my photos seem to have big swaths of keywords repeated in order. It's as though the system is spamming itself! Being able to copy all, put them into a Pages (Word) document and then clean them up

Hi everyone, I constantly check my images (vectors), as one of them show it is "on sale", while the others don't on Alamy Image Manager. Yet, they all passed the quality control process, and show a "green bar", which has a status of "good discoverability", so I assume they are all on sale with good discoverablity. Still, I am a little concerned, about my dashboard displaying all of pictures in "poor discoverability" status. Since I just recently uploaded them two days ago, I will wait at least one more day to see if it changes. Next, I don't know if it is just that it does not

Hi everyone Sorry to ask another question. Do I Need to Submit My Three Vectors by Clicking on the "Upload" button on the top left from Alamy Image Manager? I already uploaded them through FTP FileZilla inside the "Vectors Folder", and was a success. They have a "passed" status on Alamy Image Manager. I went on and clicked on the "Upload" button and submitted one image, should I be concerned? My original three images still show up, so I guess I don't need to worry, but must I still do something, or leave it alone, thank you. Regards, Javier

Hi everyone, I have already successfully transferred and uploaded all my Adobe Illustrator CC 2019 files through FileZilla. Next, Under "Captions and tags for vectors on Alamy" Step 2 instructs "Use Alamy Image Manager in My Alamy (after we’ve processed your submission)". Does this mean that I should wait until Alamy's quality control, or can I immediately proceed to this step? In other words, does Alamy check my vectors right after I upload them through FileZilla, or after I complete step 2? Your help would be much appreciated. Regards, Javier

Good afternoon My wife showed me how to work with the new Image Manager today, so I began to work on adding keywords. I have a number of images of fireworks, and one of them is in the green. So I thought I would take all of the keywords from one image and paste them into my other fireworks photos. Every time that I try, I get the following error message. You've exceeded the limit for tags on one or more of your selected images. Even when I deleted all of the tags on the second image, I still get this message when trying to paste in the keywords on the fir

In the image manager, when I search for words containing foreign characters – in this case Danish (Æ, Ø, Å, æ, ø, å) – I get no results. One example. I have several photos with the word "Læsø" in the caption as well as among the keywords, but when I search for "Læsø", it says "Sorry, but we couldn't find any matches".

I have quite bad arthritis in my hands, and I'm finding the keywording process more and more frustrating because of one simple issue. When keywording multiple images, many of the keywords show up as light grey when they only apply to some of the selected images. I want to select these to add them to all selected images. However, unless the mouse is COMPLETELY still when clicking, all you do is to move the keyword slightly. It doesn't apply to all images. I end up clicking on a keyword, it temporarily darkens, then goes back to grey because my mouse moved by one nanometre.

When I use AIM on my 4K monitor and open the window in full screen mode, 50 thumbnails are opened and shown. Because the screen is not entirely filled with thumbnails, the automatic loading of more images does not seem to work. I currently work around this by making the browser window smaller, such that some thumbnails are not shown anymore. As soon as I do this, the automatic loading of more images works again and I can go back to full screen after a couple more thumbnails are loaded. Can AIM be changed to load 100 or 150 thumbnails initially? I believe th

Last night I came across a wallpaper site, in Australia, that's offering 880 of my Alamy photos for wall murals. I presume the site http://www.customwallpaper.net.au/ is legitimate, in part, because it says the Alamy watermark will be removed from the final product. Most of these images are unreleased and really shouldn't be offered as Consumer Goods. At the time they were submitted I presumed lack of model releases would prevent them from being sold as Consumer Goods. With all the concern over marking some images "Editorial Use Only" life would be so much easier if we could

I keyword and caption in Alamy Image Manager. I quite often click on an image and "zoom in" (i.e. I click the magnifying glass with a '+' symbol) so I get a better view of the image when I'm keywording. Quite often I make typos when writing my caption or keywords so my natural instinct is to press the left/right cursor key to move to the position in the text that I am typing that I want to correct... but in AIM it doesn't move the cursor.. it moves to another zoomed image, to an image I probably haven't even selected to caption/keyword. This is so annoying!!!! If I don'

I have uploaded two batches this week and in both cases the metadata ie,captions and tags was not loaded. I now have to cut and paste individually for each image which is infuriating, Has anyone else had the problem or am I doing something wrong?

Hello, hoping someone can help with my issue. I am trying to add more details to my images on the Alamy Image Manager but when I come to 'save', it isn't saving. Have tried on two different computers and the same thing, just won't save any changes. Has anyone else had or having this problem? Any suggestions please? Carl.
