Why can't video clips be uploaded to Alamy via FTP as enabled by other major agencies? It's not acceptable to insist on submitting by post,especially when living on the other side of the world.

I have tried to get some images on Alamy. I followed their submission rules very carefully and so was dismayed to encounter problems. I have tried several times and always fail their Quality Control check for the reason "Data loss or corruption". I checked their website for details of what that means and then checked my images very carefully and could see nothing wrong. So I emailed their Member Services for advice. They sent me a copy of two of my failed images and I was shocked to see the obvious corruption - the whole of the images were a wreck! Obviously I hadn't knowing -
Just curious as to how you all mark your images chosen for upload to Alamy, to sort them from the ones you haven't uploaded. Sometimes I may develop several similars from a shoot but end up only uploading a couple of them. Once converted to jpeg I put them in a folder marked "Alamy 200" or whatever number denoting how many uploads I've done. The original folder I'm working from may be named "13-08-06 restaurants". As I work, I also save back a jpeg to the original folder as a jpeg and mark them like this: DSC2044-AL.jpg. The AL lets me know I uploaded this image to Alamy. T
