  1. The hardest part of selling stock images, is not the image taking.

It's correctly captioning and key wording your images so they get found by picture editors.

"curious alpacas" and "approaching storm" won't cut it I'm afraid. Remember the 5 W's

As to the property question: All uploads to Alamy automatically get a 'no' to property and 'no' to people releases if you upload as RM (could be for RF as well, don't know, I have no RF images) which lets the buyer decide if they need a release.

Releases: Model - no | Property - no   Do I need a release?

Had this single use editorial drop in this morning... A pretty good sum for The Sun.

Birmingham, West Midlands, UK. 2nd December 2020. After 27 days of lockdown, shops throughout the country have been allowed to reopen to the public. The country has been reintroduced to the three-tier system of local lockdown measures. As such, certain sectors such as the hospitality industry are facing tougher restrictions, with pubs in tier two areas only allowed to serve alcohol alongside a 'substantial meal', and in tier three only open for takeaways. Wales sees an alcohol ban in pubs and a closing time of 6PM. Credit: Ryan Underwood/Alamy Live News Stock Photo

     Article 19 Freedom of expression:

Everyone has the right to freedom of expression. This right shall include freedom to hold opinions and to receive and impart information and ideas without interference by public authority and regardless of frontiers.

In other words. The NUJ and their freinds are the gatekeepers of nothing.

I have no idea what 'freedom of expression' and holding a press pass has got to do with anything.

I'm amazed at some of the poor quality pix that (some) estate agents use for sales literature. The last time I sold a property I did the pix myself...

Same here, got the full asking price as well.

I think the most impressive prospective buyer was from a young couple and his dad (Jeremy Irons) 😎

Sam is quite an accomplished photographer himself http://www.samironsheadshots.com/about.php
